GARY DIETRICH
Gary Dietrich, founder and President of NorthWay Group, is passionate about building collaboration and leadership in individuals and organizations. He was a certified leadership coach and consultant prior to founding NorthWay Group in 2007. Gary’s 30 years of corporate experience brought him to countries all over the world, giving him a global perspective. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business with an emphasis in marketing and management from the University of Minnesota. He is a graduate of The Coaches Training Institute and is an associate certified coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF). Gary, with his wife Linnea, lives on a lake in North Central Minnesota where they both use their experience and training to support their community and region. ELLEN BOYD
Ellen Boyd, NorthWay Group Project Manager, has worked in the serviced based non-profit sector for nineteen years. As CEO of the Bagley Learning Center, Ellen was awarded the Organizational Excellence Award in 2008 by the Northwest Minnesota Foundation. She successfully led the learning center through the process of designing a new facility and obtaining funds for construction. Ellen is a graduate of the Coach U Core Essentials Program, the LeaderImpact program, and a certified trainer in Intercultural Excellence. She has served on many boards involved with improving opportunities for early education programs to provide high quality care. Ellen’s passion for ending poverty one person at a time stems from her experience in situational poverty and through working with young parents. As a coach, Ellen works with people in transitional phases of life to enable them to move forward and obtain their goals. Ellen resides in Clearwater County. TOM LIINDQUIST
Tom Lindquist is an associate of NorthWay Group and is the company’s General Manager. Tom has been a founder and owner of several small businesses. In 2001, he formed Lindquist Consulting doing marketing, sales, communications, and general business management consulting. For over 20 years, he served as director of marketing and media communications for a series of companies that were merged through acquisitions including Sperry, Unisys, Paramax, Loral, and Lockheed Martin. In addition, he has consulted with numerous small, mid-sized, and Fortune 500 companies including General Electric and Ceridian. Through his interaction with these numerous companies, he has gained tremendous insights into different business management ”best practices,” as well as project and contract management. After graduating from St. Cloud State, Tom taught high school economics, political science, and debate for 12 years before beginning his career in the private sector. During this time, he was also appointed by both Governor Perpich and Governor Carlson to the Minnesota State Board of Education and served as the President and Officer for all of his 12 years on that Board. Tom is a native of the Mille Lacs area and after living in the Twin Cities relocated back to the Hackensack area.
Theresa Spiering
Theresa Spiering, has fourteen years experience working as a Career Counselor in a non-profit setting as well as 10 years experience in education.  In addition to life coaching with individuals, she has successfully developed programs and training sessions to help motivate and inspire others to take charge of their actions and lives through examples, activities, open interaction and positive thinking techniques.          Theresa has built a reputation for being honest and open with her audiences. She presents activities and new ideas in a manner that engages people and helps them to see the options and alternatives.  Her coaching comes from a "strengths first" approach as she gently guides them into new territory. People respond to Theresa knowing that she is there for  support,  brainstorming and encouragement.  Certification and Credentials Holding a Masters degree in Counseling from North Dakota State University, Theresa is a Certified Life Coach through Coaches Training Institute, and most recently earned the Global Career Development Facilitator certification through the National Employment Counselors Association. Theresa enjoys equally the tranquility of the northern Minnesota and the bright lights of Vegas.  She and her family reside in the southern Minnesota.
